We are seeking innovative solutions around the following four verticals
Construction of industrial solar fields requires the repetitive execution of simple mechanical tasks, much like those in a manufacturing factory (assembly of nuts and bolts, movement of material etc.). The industrial solar industry lacks the efficiency and ergonomic maturity of manufacturing factories. Tasks are inefficient and ergonomically stressful.
Tools and/or processes which:
Are mobile because they need to move throughout large solar sites (900+ acres);
Improve ergonomics and/or efficiency of repetitive tasks such as surveying, shaking out materials, installation of racking and modules, and quality inspection.
Autonomous Reality Capture
There are lots of insights that can help us make informed decisions out of our reality capture solutions. The shortcoming is that a person on our job site must physically go and collect the data rather than use that time to help make those decisions.
Passive and autonomous solutions can collect the reality capture data we are looking for with limited human interaction. Some technology that can help do this are:
Underground Utility Mapping
Underground Mapping solutions leave a lot to be desired in terms of accuracy and confidence of findings. These result in a large amount of Hydro Excavation and utility strikes. Mapping our installed utilities also poses an issue in coordinating the time to capture installed utilities accurately prior to backfill without impacting the workflow.
Tools and/or processes which can help:
Identify better mapping solutions for existing subterranean conditions;
Identify a way to accurately capture installed features prior to backfill operations that can be used for facility maintenance and future construction.
Landscape Feasibility Analysis
The success of a high-rise apartment building is reliant on selecting the right location for the project. The process of reviewing local conditions is time-consuming when done manually.
Software that can provide information on some or all of the following.

FAR (Floor Area Ratio) requirements
Rental rates and trends
Local vacancy rate and trends

✔ And the potential to operate and scale the solution globaly
The jury will consider:

✔ The experience and credibility of the founding team
✔ The startup's clients, projects and uses-cases track record
✔ The quality of the application
